The project is based on the landscape features and those coming from the
city in search of a more rural environment. There is no inner courtyard
in order to achieve the desired aperture for the surrounding landscape.
The living room and huge protruding cover projected over it embodies
the central hub of the unit, a form of inverse atrium courtyard. The
design of the pool, terraced garden, exterior walls and seating area
under a canopy of shade, offer the resident a multitude of views while
maintaining total privacy.

Peter Märkli was responsible for creating some of the more unconventional buildings of the last decade. In his native Switzerland, he is considered the architect of the architects, considering his provocative essence of unity of the people, that he manages to emboss onto each project.
